'English Vinglish' To Be Screened At 'Toronto International Film Festival'
According to the announcement made by The Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday morning, 17 Galas and 45 Special Presentations, including 38 world premieres, will be screened at the festival.

According to the announcement made by The Toronto International Film Festival on Tuesday morning, 17 Galas and 45 Special Presentations, including 38 world premieres, will be screened at the festival. And it is good news for the actress Sridevi , and director Gauri Shinde (wife of acclaimed director R. Balki ) that their flick ' English Vinglish ' will also be screened at the festival.
The Artistic Director of the Toronto International Film Festival, Cameron Bailey mentioned on the micro-blogging site Twitter a couple of times about the film's inclusion at the prestigious event.
The 'first look' of the flick ' English Vinglish ' that was released a month back, has garnered much admiration from the audiences.
' English Vinglish ' is apparently a special film for the actress Sridevi , director Gauri Shinde and Sridevi 's fans. The film marks the comeback of Sridevi to the silver screen after a gap of 15 years. It also marks the directorial debut of Gauri Shinde .
Apart from Sridevi , ' English Vinglish ' also features the French actor Mehdi Nebbou , Adil Hussain and Priya Anand . Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in the movie in a special appearance.
The film is all set to hit the theatres on September 21, 2012.
