Late filmmaker Yash Chopra whose contribution to the industry has been immense, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 58th Filmfare Awards.

Late filmmaker Yash Chopra whose contribution to the industry has been immense, was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 58th Filmfare Awards. His wife Pamela Chopra accepted the award on his behalf, which was presented by Madhuri Dixit , who has worked with him in 1997 in ' Dil To Pagal Hai '.
It was certainly an emotional moment for Pamela when she shared how Yash Chopra came to the city with nothing more than only Rs 200 with him. She also added that he was very dedicated towards achieving his dream and he was the most humble man she ever came to know.
Yash Chopra left for the heavenly abode a couple of weeks prior to the release of his film ' Jab Tak Hai Jaan '.
