'Gangster' Actor Shiney Ahuja Wants An Early Appeal Hearing On Rape Case
Shiney Ahuja, who acted in films like ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, ‘Life In A Metro’ and ‘Gangster’ was earlier arrested in charge of raping his maid servant.

Shiney Ahuja , who acted in films like ' Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi ', ' Life in a Metro ' and ' Gangster ' was earlier arrested in charge of raping his maid servant.
Many twists and turns were seen in this case. So many times the maid servant had changed her statement. For example when the victim was cross-examined in 2010 at the fast track court in Sewri she had changed her statement and had said that he didn't rape her.
However, Shiney was convicted and sentenced to 7 years of imprisonment in the year 2011 and was released on bail on 27th April of the same year.
Now he has approached the High Court, seeking an early hearing on the appeal of the case.
He wants to get justice soon. He has given many points which state that he had not committed the crime.
His lawyer Manoj Mohite is hopeful and positive about the case and wants justice to be done as early as possible. He believes that maid servant's statements were contradictory which clearly meant that she was lying.
