Govinda and Varun Sharma bring the cheerful first poster of Fry Day!
Directed by Abhishek Dogra, the film is made under the banner of PVR Pictures and will be released on 11th May.

The king of comedy is back in action with his upcoming film, Fry Day . We are talking about Govinda , who is coming back with another comedy king, Varun Sharma . The two are collaborating for the first time for Abhishek Dogra ’s directorial. The poster of their film dropped a few moments ago and it looks bubbly and cheerful. Talking about the poster of Fry Day , from the looks of it, Varun is playing a water purifier salesman, while Govinda looks very childlike. The tagline of the film reads ‘Jhoot Becho’, which means the film could be about con and deceit.
Varun, who got a chance to work with Govinda so early, says he got to learn so much from the comedy legend. In an interview with a leading daily, Varun said, “It is so much fun shooting with him. There’s a lot of learning, since he is a legend of the genre in which I am trying to make a mark.” He also talked about his first encounter with Govinda as he said, “The first time I met him was to break the ice before we began to shoot. He was very sweet and welcoming and we started chatting. I confessed to him that I’m a big admirer of him and that I have been seeing his songs since I was a kid. That excited kid came out in front of him!”
Directed by Dogra, the film is jointly bankrolled by PVR Pictures and Sajid Qureshi and it is scheduled to release on 11th May.
