Bollywood comedy king Govinda remarried his wife Sunita on their 25th wedding anniversary on January 14 in London. It was a private ceremony attended only by close ones.

B-Town comedy samrat Govinda and his wife Sunita renewed their wedding vows on January 14, which was the 25th wedding anniversary of the couple, reportedly. A private ceremony was held in London, where Govinda re-exchanged marital vows with his wife Sunita Ahuja. The celebration was planned in advance and close family members and close friends were invited, as per the reports.
The children of the couple, Narmada and Yashvardhan, did not attend the function and stayed back home, as their mother believes, "Kids are not supposed to see their parents getting married," When asked about the gifts exchanged by couple on this occasion, the star-wife said that he gifted her a mangalsutra and she gifted him two anmol rattans, their children. She expressed her happiness by saying that "It was better than the first time. Twenty five years ago, Govinda was at the peak of his career. Those days, it was believed that marital status affects the fan following of a star and hence, we had kept our marriage a secret for the longest time. I remember we only announced the wedding after our daughter Narmada was born. This time around, I was more excited as it wasn't chup chup ke. It was his idea. His close friend Faisal made all the arrangements and his friend insisted that we do it in London. Havan, pheras, sindoor, mangalsutra...everything happened as per the rituals,"
