Groove into the Retro feel with Zindagi Meri Dance Dance, from Daddy!

The upcoming crime thriller biography based on the life of infamous gangster turned politician Arun Gawli is already making headlines, and its trailer is appreciated by the masses. And recently they have released a retro classic song, titled Zindagi Meri Dance Dance, which does take a person to the flashing era of 80’ and gives a trip to the music lane!

Though, in current Bollywood movies there is a trend for remixing old Bollywood songs, adding new lyrics and modernisation of that song and it is done! But it is better to say Zindagi Meri Dance Dance is re-mastered then remixed, as most of the elements of the original track is kept intact and well synced with punk music events. And in case if you are wondering where this original track did came from? It was from 1987’ Dance Dance, starring Mithun Chakraborty , Smita Patil , Mandakini and it is composed by Bappi Lahiri , the maestro of 80’ music.

The video of it also maintains every elements of that era, like shimmering bright customs, retro themes attires and fashion, same vibe for the club and maintaining Mithun Da element throughout the song! It also gives timely hints of revelation took place in the background, which also indicate something big is going to happen!

The film Daddy is directed by Ashim Ahluwalia and it is co-written and produced by Arjun Rampal . The cast includes Farhan Akhtar , Anand Ingale, Rajesh Shringarpore, Mir Sarwar and Aishwarya Rajesh. And the film will be releasing on 8th September in theatre near you!
