Has Priyanka Chopra finalized Shonali Bose’s script?
Shonali’s upcoming film is said to be based on a true story and will be backed by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddarth Roy Kapur.

We don’t need to tell you how busy our Desi Girl, Priyanka Chopra , is nowadays. The Quantico actress spends half of her time flying from one city to another and last week, she was in India. On her brief visit to Mumbai, she met few filmmakers and has finalized few Indian scripts to work on. Priyanka was last seen in Jai Gangaajal and it’s been more than 2 years that the actress has not done any Hindi film. Well, there might be good news for all the PeeCee fans. The 35-year-old actress has reportedly shown her interest in one of the Shonali Bose ’s script. In the past, Shonali has made the critically acclaimed film, Margarita With A Straw , and now, it is reported that she has approached Priyanka to play the female lead in her next. The film will be jointly produced by Ronnie Screwvala and Siddharth Roy Kapur .
“Priyanka has really liked the concept and will take the final decision soon. Meanwhile, the hunt for the leading man is underway and Shonali has also started work on the prep,” informed a source to the leading daily.
When asked Shonali, she said, ‘’We are not sure of the cast yet, but I am doing a film with Ronnie and Sid. It’s an original script written by me and inspired by a true story.”
Though Priyanka remains neck tight busy for most of the times, she had earlier said that she will manage to work subsequently in India as well as in the West.
