During the launch of Maatr ’s trailer, actress Raveena Tandon rightly mentioned that the intention behind this film is not the commercial success, but to spread a message of crime against women. Her words are rightly proven in the latest song Zindagi Ae Zindagi song from the film.
The song features protagonist Vidya Chauhan (played by Raveena) in the agony she faces after the most tragic incident of her life. Her pain is precisely emoted in Rahat Fateh Ali’s voice. And its meaningful lyrics are penned by S.K.Khailash.
Directed by Ashtar Sayed, Maatr is a revenge thriller scheduled to release on April 21.
