South Indian actress, Payal Ghosh , who is making her Bollywood debut with the Sanjay Chhel directorial, Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi , is quite excited about the movie. “I am very excited for the film. I want the film to become a superhit because it’s my first (Hindi) film. I have a lot of expectations. The film is very nice. The songs are very catchy. Dialogues are awesome. Paresh Ji and Rishi Ji, they are stalwarts. What I have to say about them! So, yeah, I am really looking forward,” says the actress.
Besides Payal, the movie also stars actors Paresh Rawal and Rishi Kapoor in important roles. When asked about her experience working with the veteran actor, Rishi Kapoor , Payal says, “Awesome! He is one of the most humble, supportive, caring and loving persons I have ever come across. Initially, I thought he would be very angry kind of a man. But he turned out to be a very down-to-earth and humble. He always helped me out, always supported me on set. It was lovely working with him.”
Rishi Kapoor is one such actor who is as popular among the new generation as the older one. When we asked Payal if she has been his fan, she says though she likes his films, she is Ranbir Kapoor’s fan. “My dad was a big fan of Rishi Ji. I am Ranbir Kapoor’s fan (laughs). Obviously, Rishi Ji has that aura and positivity. When I saw him on sets for the first time, I was completely mesmerized. Since my father was a big Rishi Kapoor, I too watched a lot of his films with him, like Karz , Ek Main Aur Tu and Chandni . I love those films. When I saw him personally, I was very excited. He is so good-looking. He has a different aura,” the actress says.
Featuring Prem Chopra , Rishi Kapoor , Paresh Rawal , Payal Ghosh and Vir Das , Patel Ki Punjabi Shaadi is slated to release on 15th September.
