The crossover actor, Irrfan Khan who has shot his best in both Hollywood and Bollywood, is all famous for his marvels in the field of acting. Garnering several applauds for his performances in flicks like ' Maqbool ', ' Life in a Metro ' to exceeding his par with ' The Namesake ', ' Slumdog Millionaire ' and ' Life of Pi ', Khan has been amusing each time around.

With his latest offering ' The Lunchbox ' getting a narrow escape from entering itself into the Oscars, may have surely disappointed the powerhouse. Well now moving ahead from yelling loud for the "dabba" missing its treat, Irrfan has again entered the buzz lane with yet another candid confession.

Reportedly, the new birdies were chirping high with Irrfan being opted to essay the character of the famous musician Bhupen Hazarika . The film was about to be directed by Kalpana Lajmi and produced by Mahesh Bhatt 's adorable, Pooja Bhatt .

The film was a canvas of pictorial of Lajmi's relationship with the legend who passed away on the 5th of November,2011.

However, Irrfan Khan has straight forwardly denied essaying the role of the renowned musician in any of his forthcoming. The star reportedly also disclosed that as he would love to present the legend on screen, he was merely never approached for it. The actor further added that Bhupen ji was a great human being and people like him should always be remembered. Well though the script should be as strong, as per the sources.

Now that the versatile actor had bagged the prestigious 'National Award' earlier this year for his wonders depicting a biopic ' Paan Singh Tomar ' based on the famous athlete, the rumors about him opting for another one seemed quite realistic.
