Irrfan Khan is known in the Bollywood industry for his out of track portrayal of role and even a common man can relate to his personality. And now, the virtuoso actor is ready to personify the character of Sudhir Mishra, which was earlier played by actor Ravi Baswani in 1983's classic ' Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro '. The film will also cast Naseeruddin Shah , who has also worked in the original one.
The sequel will be the hattrick of the duo, "Irrfan-Naseeruddin", as before this, they shared the screen in the films like ' Maqbool ' and ' Yun Hota To Kya Hota '. Both the maestros have graduated from the National School of Drama (NSD). While talking about his upcoming project, Irrfan said that Naseeruddin Shah was his senior in NSD. Working again with an actor of such a stature would be a nice experience in itself. The film will also present Irrfan an opportunity to work on a good script. They will start the shoots in a month or two, said Irrfan.
Irrfan is pleased with the progress of Hindi Cinema and the way it is getting interpreted before the world's platform. He added that a good movie is such that it touches heart by crossing the boundaries of world, color and language and forces you to think about those issues, which you had not paid attention to earlier.
The yesteryear's' classic movie ' Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro ' was based upon the dark irony on spreading corruption in Indian politics, news media and business. These are the present issues India is dealing with. Therefore Irrfan, Naseeruddin starrer, the sequel of this classic flick will surely grab the viewers' attention.
