IFFI is currently the hot news in the entire Indian film industry. The week-long festival, which started on 20th November, will end today. It is believed that Anand Gandhi , the ‘ Ship of Theseus ’ fame is looking for someone for his next project. The National Award winning director was present for the ongoing International Film Festival of India and spoke at length for over 3 hours to Sushant. A source informed to a leading daily, “The discussion took place at a five-star hotel in Goa and both Anand and Sushant had a 3-hour long conversation. They were talking, writing and drawing out certain things on paper and even seemed to be enacting something. It left everyone present, speculating if the two may work on a film together soon.”
Gandhi’s all the previous work have been appreciated. Though he’s not a familiar face to the masses in India, the 37-year-old has been a recipient of many national and international accolades. It will be great to see if the visionary filmmaker casts talented Sushant in his movie.
On the work front, Gandhi’s ‘An Insignificant Man’ released a few days ago, with a brilliant response. The film has been acquired by ‘Vice’ for a global television and digital release. On the other hand, Sushant Singh Rajput is busy with Abhishek Kapoor ’s ‘ Kedarnath ’.
