It's Ruby Anniversary for Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan!

Today's day, 3rd June, is really very special for a lovely couple in B-Town, as they are joyfully celebrating their ruby anniversary today. They are our very own Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bhaduri , who have successfully completed together 40 years of their marriage.

The veteran actor is overwhelmed by the generosity of his fans, friends and well-wishers for greeting the couple on completing 40 years of togetherness. Big B thanks his fans for giving him love for so many years in all situations.

The star couple met in the year 1972 for the very first time on the sets of the movie 'Ek Nazar'. Their love flourish in a classic filmy style. Both personally and professionally, their lives progressed together. ' Abhimaan ', ' Zanjeer ' and ' Sholay ' were the super hit movies of this rocking couple post their marriage. In fact, those films were apparent masterworks.

When their daughter Shweta was born, Jaya Bhaduri had to take a break from her film career. Jaya recalls Amitabh sharing the parental responsibilities at that time. However, owing to rising stardom Amitabh could not devote much time to Abhishek. By following his father's footsteps, Abhishek Bachchan also stepped in the world of Bollywood.

Some incidents in their married life proved as evaluators of their love, such as Amitabh Bachchan meeting a critical accident, while filming for the film ' Coolie '. The couple stood stoically in similar crucial situations.
