Kangana Ranaut declines the proposal to support Padmavati
Padmavati makers have decided to make a petition for the safety of the lead stars citing the current controversy scenario.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali 's Padmavati has become the hot topic of discussion through-out the country. The release of the film has been halted due to the protests by the Karni Sena and a few states have banned the film completely. The makers and the actors have received death threats and the controversy have been worsened. The film team decided to release a petition for the safety of the stars.
The film industry has shown support towards Padmavati at various occasions. For the petition actresses including Jaya Bachchan , Alia Bhatt , Vidya Balan , Katrina Kaif , Anushka Sharma , and Shabana Azmi among others have been approached. When Kangana Ranaut was approached for the same, she refused to show support for the film, as per the report in Mid-Day.
Kangana Ranaut herself have been a part of several controversies. Her latest spat with Hrithik Roshan is known to one and all. Since the industry did not support her in time of need, may be this time around Kangana too is not willing to show her support for the film.
