Karan Johar brings the third collaboration between Varun Dhawan and Shashank Khaitan with ‘Rannbhoomi’!
The trio of Karan-Varun-Shashank will reunite for the third time for the film, Rannbhoomi, and it will hit the screens on Diwali 2020.

In the past, Varun Dhawan , Shashank Khaitan , and Karan Johar have collaborated on two films - Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania - and both films became major hits at the box office. The trio is now coming together for the third for a film titled, Rannbhoomi . The movie is scheduled to hit the big screen on Diwali 2020. Karan announced the big news on Twitter captioning, “So proud to announce #RANNBHOOMI ...@ShashankKhaitan and @Varun_dvn take a giant leap in their third offering together! A solid spectacle with a beating heart!!! DIWALI 2020 release! Remaining lead cast to be announced soon!”
The film is one of the dream projects of director Khaitan. He shared the same news on social media stating that he has been working on the script from December 2015 and finally Karan has given wings to his dream.
"Rannbhoomi is Shashank's colossal and ambitious imagination to attempt a hat-trick with Varun and Dharma. Shashank and Varun make an epic blend of creative and commercial extravaganza and that is exactly what Dharma Productions' vision for the coming few projects are. Very excited to bring them together again for this Diwali 2020 epic tale," Karan Johar said in a statement.
While the actor, producer, director and the release date of the film are announced, the female lead and the other star cast are still awaited.
