Karan Johar’s ‘Student of The Year 2’ will go on floors in early 2018!
Tiger Shroff revealed details about Karan Johar's Student Of The Year 2 in which he is the solo male lead.

‘ Student of the Year ’ was a commercial hit, and it marked the debut of talented actors Alia Bhatt , Varun Dhawan , and Sidharth Malhotra . The movie was appreciated by the masses so much so that the makers decided to make a sequel to it, titled ‘ Student of the Year 2 ’. Karan Johar, who helmed the previous film, announced the sequel early this year and Tiger Shroff to play the lead. Though the project was announced months back, it was put on a halt for one or the other reasons. But now, we think the wait is over as Tiger himself made some revelation about the film to a leading daily, “Early next year, I start Student of the Year 2. That's the only film I've confirmed my dates for as of now. The rest will depend on how long this shoot takes. The ‘ Rambo ’ shoot is scheduled to kick off towards the end of next year. The film with Hrithik sir will start before that,” Tiger said.
Speaking about ‘SOTY 2’, a source had earlier told a leading daily, “The first SOTY film was a love triangle set in a college campus, but the second won’t have another leading man. It’s a solo-hero film. Karan has always been a Jackie Shroff fan. Working with his son is something he wanted to do from the time Tiger was ready to make his debut.”
So if the sources are to be believed, though there’s no love triangle in the sequel, the widespread rumors say Disha Patani and Ananya Pandey have been cast as female leads in ‘ Student of the Year 2 ’.
