Shuddhi is not shelved as per filmmaker Karan Malhotra it will be on the floors soon

Karan Malhotra who has directed films like Agneepath which was a big hit at the box office in 2012, has confirmed by announcing that Shuddhi will happen at the right time, with the right people and the right environment.
As per the sources actor, Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor Khan were his prime choice but after a few issues both walked out of the project. Later, Karan Johar announced Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt to be the cast which is still not confirmed.
There were speculations being made that the film is based on Amish Tripathi's 'Immortals of Meluha', but Karan Malhotra announced Shuddhi is an original story and screenplay by his wife Ekta Pathak Malhotra.
The film will finally go on the floors soon.
