A few weeks ago, the Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan starrer Kedarnath ran into controversies and the shooting halted for a while. But in no time, director Abhishek Kapoor and its previous producers, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor resolved their problem and the film is now on track. Producer Ronnie Screwvala came on board and decided to back the film. The team is set to resume shooting from later this week.
As the film is set on the backdrop of the Uttarakhand floods, Sushant and Sara will shoot an underwater sequence. And to give it more authentic look, a massive set has been built on the outskirts of Mumbai where the team will start shooting from April 28.
A source informed a daily, "Abhishek Kapoor, who has been bailed out by Ronnie Screwvala, is going ahead with full gusto. The shoot for the underwater sequences will be done with both the lead actors."
Earlier, the film was set to release on 21st December 2018, but now, when it has got a new producer, it’s hard to say whether the makers will stick to the original date or there will be some reshuffling.
