Lara Dutta to arrive with 'Chalo Dilli' sequel
B-Town actress Lara Dutta is planning to arrive with sequel to earlier satirical flick \'Chalo Dilli\' of 2011. Like in the original, Vinay Pathak will be also starring in the sequel.

Tinsel town actress Lara Dutta preferred to stay away from the arc lights, after becoming mother in the year 2012. The former Miss Universe was only seen playing a cameo in the film ' David ' by Bejoy Nambiar this year. As per the latest news, Lara Dutta is all set to once again dive into Bollywood with the sequel of her earlier hit flick ' Chalo Dilli ' (2011) that also starred Vinay Pathak .
The next installment of ' Chalo Dilli ' is tentatively titled as 'Chalo China' as of now. The satirical drama ' Chalo Dilli ' was the first movie of Lara Dutta under her own banner Bheegi Basanti Productions. As Saira, the daughter of the actress is now an year old, Lara is planning to gradually focus on her professional life. A close source revealed that the script for the sequel is being worked on now.
Vinay Pathak featured in the predecessor and is also going to star in its sequel. He confirmed the news mentioning that he is going to star in the film alongside Lara Dutta . The film is yet in its scripting phase and shortly, the shooting is likely to start, Vinay told. The talks are going on saying that Shashanka Ghosh is likely to helm the sequel, though it is not sure yet.
Later this year might see this next series of ' Chalo Dilli ' filming. As per the buzz, Lara is also on the verge of signing yet another project.
