From questioning the Censor Board's approval to facing oppose for the screening, the whole unit of the film has been through all of this. But this time around, the audiences have stamped the saying ,"Audiences are the real critics".

Well, that must have increased the craze and enthusiasm among the crowd to at least give it a try. And the audiences out were all ga-ga about this political thriller also calling it an 'intelligent' craft in Indian cinema.
However the film screened in around 1,200 screens and did an average opening business of approximately 5.17 crores on Friday, followed by a gross of 7.25 crores on Saturday and then adding a whopping hype of almost 9 crores in its account. The film has accordingly tallied up to cross 20 crores in its initial three days, which is not that bad.
The film is also starring Rashi Khanna in a vital role. The plot of the movie is based upon a sensitive issue related to LTTE cadres fight against the Indian Government, which gave birth to a tragic incident in the Indian history.
