Mahira Khan & Ranbir Kapoor got mocked by Internet Trolls & Bollywood responds to it!

Although it is sad, Bollywood stars and celebrities being the target of liberal scrutiny is not a new thing and mostly it is considered to be part of the job for most Bollywood celebrities, regardless of how pointless it sounds! In most cases, actress being subject to attire shaming is quite frequent, but in the recent time, when Mahira Khan and Ranbir Kapoor spotted together and their photos of smoking together went viral. What initially thought out to be a paparazzi update, escalated and eventually, Twitter users turned vile and started trolling her with the offensive comments! Eventfully Bollywood celebs turned up to defend the right point and here’s what they have to say,

Pakistani singer and actor Ali Zafar , who is known to be straight-forward to express his point of view, and in support of Mahira, he wrote an above letter to appeal people to give a quick check before judging someone’s deed. Though he didn’t justify smoking habits to be okay with, lay emphasis on women rights and saying “Every woman has the right to make her own choices in life (as long as she’s not hurting anyone else) just like we men do!”

Parineeti Chopra:

Though the actress was busy attending trailer launch event of her upcoming film Golmaal Again while speaking with a daily, she made her point clear, “It is quite unfair, everybody knows it is unfair, and it will stop. Today, because of social media, everything becomes too big a deal!

Rishi Kapoor:

It was quite obvious that people would be curious to know what Rishi Kapoor has to say about Ranveer Kapoor, he told, “I only saw them on Twitter, not on Instagram or Facebook because I am only on Twitter. It’s not that I saw these pictures before or I know anything about this already. You see, Ranbir is a young star, he is unmarried, he’s a bachelor. He can meet anybody whoever he wants to, and if people are going to invade his privacy, it’s not done. And I can’t say anything about all this because he’s a young man and he has the choice of meeting any girl.” The typical Indian-Father response!

Other Celebrity:

Other celebs also stated their opinion on such controversy! As Varun Dhawan reacted, “Shame on them for shaming her.” Another Pakistani celeb and talented singer Momina Musteshan tweeted “Can we please give Mahira a break?! Why are we so quick to judge and attack?! Especially if it’s a woman in question! It’s her life! I’m assuming those bashing @TheMahiraKhan are saints & would happily put every moment of their lives up for scrutiny. To each their own guys!”
