Mohit Suri rubbishes rumours of making the sequel of Ek Villain with Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon!
Ek Villain is a Balaji Telefilms property and they haven't approached me yet, confirms Mohit Suri.

For the last 2 years, news of Ek Villain ’s sequel is making the rounds of the table. The movie came out in 2014 and was declared a super hit at the box office. A few days back, it was reported that actors Sidharth Malhotra and Kriti Sanon might collaborate for the first with Ek Villain’s sequel and the movie will be helmed by Mohit Suri , who helmed the original film. But now, director Mohit has confronted a leading tabloid and rubbished all the baseless rumours. He also said that the project has not even offered to him yet.
In an interview with a leading tabloid, the director refuted the rumours of making a sequel to the film. He said, "I've heard that I am making Ek Villain 2 (with Sid and Kriti) and also that I already have a bound script which has been given to Aditya. But nothing like that is happening. Ek Villain is a Balaji Telefilms property and they haven't approached me yet."
While actors Sidharth and Kriti are not even in the frame, Mohit surely has plans to work with Aditya Roy Kapoor again. The duo collaborated for Aashiqui 2 in 2013 and it turned out to be a blockbuster hit film.
About the same, Mohit said, "Yes, I am working with Aditya. It will be a thriller." He further added, "My earlier films like Murder 2 and Kalyug were also the same genre."
We don’t whether Sidharth and Kriti will be seen in Mohit’s next film or not but fans will definitely see the collaboration of Mohit and Aditya.
