Monica Dogra to play lesbian in short-film 'Relapse'
'Dhobi Ghaat' fame Monica Dogra will play the role of a lesbian in the upcoming 12-minute short film titled 'Relapse' directed by Rosie Haiber.

The gorgeous Monica Dogra entered Bollywood with the film ' Dhobi Ghaat ' in 2011. And now, the multi talented Monica Dogra will be starring in a 12-minute English short film titled 'Relapse'. The upcoming Los Angeles Film Festival will see this short film being premiered at. The event will take place in June.
'Relapse' will be production venture of Film Independent and it will be helmed by Rosie Haiber. Going by the reports, Monica Dogra will play the role of a lesbian in the film 'Relapse'. Basically, the film speaks about two women, who part ways when one of them decides to undergo sex-change operation to become a male. The movie will also star Casey Legler. Monica is delighted about the fact that this film will represent LGBT community. She said that "I am acting with Casey, who is a real badass. Being a former Olympian swimmer, she would constantly push the boundary in every scene and that helped as a performer."
Monica also had to shoot for a sexually explicit scene for this flick. Talking about it, the actress stated that "I had to kiss Casey and it happened very naturally. However, unlike 'Blue is the Warmest Colour', our film isn't high on sexual content. But as far as the emotional turmoil and psychology goes, it is definitely at par with the internationally acclaimed French drama,"
