Nawazuddin Siddiqui & Sanya Malhotra resume Ritesh Batra’s next!

Ritesh Batra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui are re-collaborating for a film after their succesful outing,The Lunch Box. Both of them are equally excited and happy about their next venture together which is tentatively titled Photograph. Speculations have been made that Nawazuddin essays the role of a passionate photographer in the film but the director hasn’t given a clear confirmation about the same. Another interesting aspect is that Dangal fame actress Sanya Malhotra has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Nawaz. BollywoodMDB recently updated the news to our readers regarding the upcoming film.

The team started filming from October 4 in Mumbai and the schedule is sailing smoothly. In a media interaction when Batra was asked if Nawaz will play a photographer in the movie he quipped, “That’s what I have been reading.” He further said, “Right now, it’s too early to talk about this film. We’ve just started. I am so pleased to reunite with Nawazuddin. So much has changed for both of us since we worked together in The Lunchbox. I am really glad he’s achieved so much since then.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui spoke about working with Sanya and Ritesh in a statement. He added: “Sanya Malhotra has a terrific role in Ritesh’s film. I can’t reveal much about the film except that we will be seen doing a completely different take on Mumbai as compared with The Lunchbox. We start shooting in Mumbai from October 4. The Lunchbox was a turning point for Ritesh and for me. I guess we’ve both grown as artists since then. So, it would be a pleasure to shoot with him again.”
