Nayak sequel on the cards!
The 2001 blockbuster Nayak will soon have a sequel and it's reportedly in the scripting phase.

The 2001 blockbuster Nayak featuring Anil Kapoor and Rani Mukherjee is geared up to have its next installment. Producer Deepak Mukut and Eros International will jointly come up with this sequel that will be written by KV Vijayendra Prasad.
The producer Deepak attested this piece of news update by saying that he has purchased the rights from the original producer AM Rathnam. This film will be a political satire with a pinch of romance to it. The story will take off from the original but will have a different twist. The sequel is likely to feature some characters from the original film. The work of scripting has commenced for this sequel of Nayak.
