Superstar Salman Khan has always been known to release his films during Eid. His films released during the festive period of Eid have always shattered box office records and have set a benchmark for other films. But it's a lesser known fact that Salman Khan owns Christmas release as much as Eid. His films released during Christmas period has done as much business as his Eid releases. Salman Khan 's film Dabangg 2 had released on 21st December 2012. The film had shattered all the records with a whopping collection of 328 crores. His latest action flick Tiger Zinda Hai which released on 22 December 2017 has raked in 338 crores at the domestic box office and is still counting more.
Salman Khan 's films have always broken records when released during festive a period be it Eid or Christmas, his films successfully shatter records at the box office, thanks to the massive fan following of Salman. Taking his huge popularity quotient forward his upcoming films will release on Eid and Christmas respectively.
' Race 3 ' and ' Bharat ' will be released during Eid and on the other hand Salman's Kick 2 will get released during Christmas. Salman Khan 's high-octane action film ' Tiger Zinda Hai ' doesn't seem to slow down even in its seventh weekend. The film has minted Rs 60 lac at the ticket window in its seventh weekend and is continuing to rake in moolah at the box office.
On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in Race 3 alongside Jacqueline Fernandez .
