This Friday seems to be a real house-full, may not for the audiences but surely for the film-makers. Eleven films have slated their release dates on this Friday (26th July). Where many big budget films like ' Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! ' & ' Chennai Express ' have rescheduled their release dates to avoid a clash at the box-office may not have inspired these film-makers who are set for a huge clash.
Here, Bollywood has four films to offer on July 26- ' Bajatey Raho ', ' Issaq ', ' Luv U Soniyo ' & ' Nasha '; whereas Marathi has two films in the row - 'Time Please - Lovestory Lagna Nantarchi' & 'Shrimant Damodar Pant'; while Tamil has its share of three- 'Ainthu Ainthu', 'Sonapuri Yadhu', 'Patta Thir Yaanai'. On the other hand Punjabi flick 'Best Of Luck' & Hollywood movie 'The Wolverine' are also hitting the screens on July 26.
This mass loading of films at the box-office have surely created a mess for multiplexes on allocation of shows for the respective films. Where many multiplexes have allotted spaces for all films but had not yet decided on the number of shows to be given; there are also few multiplexes who have rejected slots for regional films like Marathi & Punjabi.
