Parineeti Chopra to romance Akshay Kumar in Battle Of Saragarhi!
Actress Parineeti Chopra has been signed to play Akshay Kumar’s wife in a forthcoming film, Battle Of Saragarhi.

Last seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu opposite Ayushmann Khurrana , actress Parineeti Chopra has been roped in to play the female lead opposite Akshay Kumar in an upcoming film titled Battle Of Saragarhi. To be directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Karan Johar and Salman Khan , the movie is expected to mount floors in the month January.
Akshay Kumar , whose last film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha went on to do phenomenal business at the box office, will be seen in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh. Parineeti Chopra will play his wife in the film. “Parineeti plays a strong character and has really liked the script. The makers have started prep. Huge sets of the Saragarhi and Gulistan forts, as well as a village, will be erected in Wai, a town in Satara district,” reveals a source.
Meanwhile, Akshay has wrapped up shooting for R Balki ’s Padman , which also features Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte in prominent roles. The actor is now shooting for his next Gold , which is being helmed by Reema Kagti . Parineeti Chopra , on the other hand, will next be seen in Golmaal Again opposite Ajay Devgn and then she will move on to shoot Namastey Canada with Arjun Kapoor .
