Phullu Trailer: Sharib Hashmi to fight a thousand odds

After much of the controversy over sharing a common plot with Akshay Kumar’s PadMan, film Phullu has finally made its official trailer out!
The trailer deals with an unemployed Phullu heading to the city to earn his living. There he understands the ill-effects of ages-old menstruation practice followed by women at his native place. There begins his quest to fight all odds and educate his people about the importance of menstrual hygiene.
Going by the highlights, Sharib Hashmi has very well portrayed the rural character of Phullu. His looks and body language further contribute to his performance. Jyoti Sethi plays the supportive wife of Phullu. Her looks, as well as the adapted dialect, is worth the praise. Other actors too, have done a fair job.
Phullu trailer is appearing promising enough to picture a content-driven cinema on screen. Directed by Abhishek Saxena, film Phullu will be releasing on June 16.
