Postponed: Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' to now hit the theatres on year end!

Scheduled to release on April 27th, Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi' will now come out at the end of 2018.

Bollywood’s queen, Kangana Ranaut , is putting her blood and sweat for her period film, ‘ Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi '. The film is a biopic on freedom fighter Rani Laxmibai and Kangana is filming for this epic saga since months. We all know that the actress is doing most of the stunts on her own and she has even got herself hurt while performing some action sequences. Initially, the film was scheduled to release on 27th April 2018, but the heavy VFX work is creating some obstacles for the makers to complete the film on time and now, Kangana herself confirmed that ‘Manikarnika’ will come out by year-end.

At the Lakme Fashion Week, Kangana spoke about her film upcoming film, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi and said, “The film was scheduled to release on April 27, but due to the VFX in the film, I think it has gone to the end of the year (Jo pehle film 27 April ko aane wali thi, magar hum logon ka jo vfx hai, usko karke, I think it has gone to the end of the year.) The production house is planning to announce the release date in a big way. So, please wait for that.”

The grand film is directed by Krish and it is being made on a huge budget of around 125 crores and apart from Kangana, the film also stars, Jisshu Sengupta , Ankita Lokhande , Atul Kulkarni , Sonu Sood and Vaibhav Tatwawaadi .
