Pradeep Sarkar soon to direct a movie starring Kajol!
Pradeep Sarkar has signed Kajol in his next because he admires the work of the actress.

Pradeep Sarkar is widely recognized for his directorial debut ‘ Parineeta ’. Starring Vidya Balan , Saif Ali Khan and Sanjay Dutt in pivotal roles, the runaway success of the film helped Sarkar gain his footing in the Hindi film industry. The movie garnered him a National Award and a Filmfare award for best director. Sarkar, whose movies are best known for showcasing the strong character of the female leads, is keen to work with talented actress Kajol . He has signed Kajol for his upcoming untitled directorial which will be an adaptation of the Gujarati play by Anand Gandhi , director of ' Ship of Theseus '.
Sarkar reportedly said, "I was offered the script around four months ago. It took me a while to understand the Gujarati tone but eventually, I fell in love with this extremely emotional story which boasts of some really strong characters and there's a chance of people getting really close to them."
When Sarkar was asked about his feeling to be working with Kajol , he replied, "She's an awesome actress who picks up a role and owns it. She has her own style, charm and a particular way of talking that enhances the character."
Sarkar’s last movie ‘ Mardaani ’ (2014) did average business at the box office. We hope and expect the upcoming project should prove successful for both the director and the actress. Reportedly, the film will be co-produced by Ajay Devgn and is supposed to go on the floors in January next year.
