Prernaa Arora’s upcoming film is titled ‘Rutbaa’!
Written and directed by debutante Priya Mishra, the story of Rutbaa is inspired by the life of Priya’s brother and his wife.

Producer Prernaa Arora is on a roll these days! The young producer, along with her partner, Arjun N Kapoor , has some big movies in the coming months but she is constantly backing small budgeted and content-driven projects as well. And one of the unique films that KriArj Entertainment will produce is titled as Rutbaa. Written and directed by debutante, Priya Mishra, the story of Rutbaa is inspired by the life of Priya’s brother, Aditya Mishra, and his wife.
Aditya and his wife, both are serving as an IPS officer in Uttar Pradesh and the film will shed light on the journey of the two who fell in love and face the challenges society threw at them. The two fell in love at a young age, faced all the odds, stayed together and successfully became IPS officers.
Speaking with a daily, Prernaa said, “We are happy to announce our film Rutbaa. The plot is intriguing and we have full faith in Priya Mishra, as the film is inspired by real-life incidents that she has grown up watching closely. The casting of the film is still in process.”
Apart from Rutbaa, KriArj is also producing John Abraham ’s Parmanu , Shahid Kapoor ’s Batti Gul Meter Chalu , Aishwarya Rai Bachchan ’s Fanne Khan , the remake of Raat Aur Din , and few more untitled projects.
