Finally, things are going well for Nawazuddin ’s ‘ Monsoon Shootout ’. After waiting for more than 4 years to get a clean chit from Censor Board, the movie is now all set to hit the big screen on 8th December 2017. Though the extended teaser of ‘ Monsoon Shootout ’ was out quite a long ago, the movie had first of its kind interactive trailer launch on social media by global icon, Priyanka Chopra . PC launched its trailer on her Twitter account with the caption reading, “Shoot or not to shoot? YOU get to decide what happens next in the trailer for #MonsoonShootout what a cool idea! So glad to see filmmakers innovate & push boundaries of the filmmaking process... https://bit.ly/MSofficialInteractiveTrailer … Great stuff.” She tagged the actors and the makers of the film in her tweet.

Earlier, Guneet Monga , the producer of the film had said in a statement, "I reached out to Priyanka to express our desire to have her launch our trailer. She watched the trailer and loved the innovation of being a first-of-its-kind interactive trailer where the audience chooses the ending. It is indeed very kind of her to instantly agree and extend her support. She has produced and supported several independent films. She is a global icon and an amazingly talented actress who has a great sense of good content. It's humbling to see someone like her to come forth in support of our film."
Though Priyanka is busy with her Hollywood projects, she is constantly supporting small budgeted and regional films. Her last Marathi film as a producer, ‘Ventilator’ won 5 Filmfare Awards (Marathi) and 3 National Films Awards. Our Desi Girl is surely setting some serious benchmarks for other actors by putting her hands in small projects even after being a global star.
