Priyanka Chopra lends her voice to 'Girl Rising'

Priyanka Chopra gave a voice-over for 'Girl Rising' feature film, which speaks nine stories of brave women, who overcome poverty with education as their tool.

The "exotic" beauty Priyanka Chopra recently provided a voice-over for a feature film titled 'Girl Rising', reportedly. The Oscar nominated director Richard E Robbins has directed this feature film and Priyanka has lent her voice in Hindi and English version of the film.

The highlight of the film is nine stories of brave women, who used education as a weapon to rise above adversity and poverty. Academy Award winning actress Anne Hathaway and the pop star Selena Gomez has also provided voice-overs for this film, as per the reports. The award winning screenwriter Sooni Taraporevala has penned the story for the Indian version of the film.

A close source told that "Though Priyanka is a globe trekker, she dubbed this movie in India. She saw portions of the documentary and was moved by the stories. Priyanka has seen the Indian story many times now. She told her friends to see the film whenever they get the opportunity,"
