B-town beauty and talented actress Priyanka Chopra is taking lots of efforts to reach perfection for her role in Prakash Jha 's upcoming directorial venture ' Jai Gangaajal '. Priyanka says that the biggest challenge for her is to maintain grace and femininity while playing the role of a tough police officer. When asked her about her role, she said that, while playing the tough cop Abha Mathur, she faced a challenge to maintain the femininity and grace of the character. According to the global superstar, when she is dressed in a uniform, it becomes very difficult for her to maintain femininity which is very important for her. She revealed that she and Prakash Jha had discussed that it is very important to celebrate womanhood as a woman and at the same time, become tough as an authority. Her character Abha Mathur in this movie is like this, graceful but tough.
Priyanka also said that while doing action sequences, somehow women tend to lose their femininity. But Abha Mathur is extremely graceful, feminine but at the same time she is a tough police officer who cannot be taken for granted. Priyanka said that Abha Mathur is a very dignified woman and she loved playing the character in Jai Gangaajal .
Jai Gangaajal is a story of a female IPS officer who stands against the evil and powerful who think that she is a weak and easy to manipulate. However the story gets interesting twist when things get difficult for them because of Abha Mathur. It is not a prequel or sequel of Ajay Devgn 's ' Gangaajal ' but this time Prakash Jha has brought us a fresh story. The movie will release on 4th march 2016.
