Rajesh Vivek of 'Lagaan' fame expires due to heart attack

Bollywood actor Rajesh Vivek expired at the age of 66 years due to heart attack yesterday in Hyderabad.

Bollywood actor Rajesh Vivek breathed his last on January 14 due to heart attack in Hyderabad. The 66-year old actor was known for his roles in the movies like ' Swades ', ' Lagaan '. He was shooting for a South Indian movie when he suffered heart attack in Hyderabad.

As told by his friend, "Rajesh passed away around 3 PM in Hyderabad due to a heart attack. He was shooting there for a south Indian film. It is very shocking news," He further added that "We were close friends. We knew each other for last 40 years. He was fine. It was not that he was unwell or anything like that,"

The actor was first introduced in Bollywood industry by Shyam Benegal in his movie ' Junoon ' in 1978. Rajesh Vivek was basically a theatre actor and he featured in famous tv series such as 'Mahabharata', 'Aghori' and 'Bharat Ek Khoj'.
