Rajkummar Rao commences the last schedule of his horror-comedy, Stree!
With Stree, Rajkummar has first time paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor. The film is backed by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Amar Kaushik.

2017 was termed as the year of Rajkummar Rao and we think the actor wants to achieve the same feat this year as well. With more than 8 projects this year, Rajkummar will be seen doing a variety of roles in 2018. One of those 8 films is Stree , where the actor has been paired opposite Shraddha Kapoor for the first time. The film is a horror comedy and Rajkummar’s debut step in such genre. He started shooting for the film early this year and now, the team of Stree has reached to its final stage. That’s right! The actor, who is busy with multiple films, is about to wrap the final leg of Stree. The Newton actor took to Twitter to share the big news, captioning, “And in these dark nights, the last leg of our horror comedy begins. #Stree @ShraddhaKapoor come back soon. @amarkaushik @rajndk @MaddockFilms #Dinoo @TripathiiPankaj @Aparshakti”
While Rajkummar’s co-star, Shraddha is busy with her other commitments, she commented on the pic and said she will join the team tomorrow and finish the last portion. She said, “I’m cominggggg. See you tomorrow!”
While the film’s story is still under wraps, a report in a leading tabloid suggests that Shraddha's character will have a few supernatural elements to it while Rajkummar will be seen playing the role of a tailor.
The film is written by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK and produced by Dinesh Vijan . Directed by Amar Kaushik , the film also features Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurrana .
