Rajkummar Rao is elated to receive APSA 2017 Best Actor Award!

For his role in the film, Rajkummar Rao was nominated in the best actor category at Asia Pacific Screen Awards. Now, the actor reveals that he has won the most prestigious #APSA2017 Best Actor!

The official handle of Asia Pacific Screen Awards Tweeted Rajkummar’s picture and quoted him from the acceptance speech that he gave while receiving the award. The movie Newton narrates the tale of a newly recruited government employee named Nutan Kumar a.k.a. Newton, played by Rajkummar Rao , who is entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out a fair election in a Naxal hit area. The film is directed by Amit Masurkar .
