Today, Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra owns the reputation of being a splendid story-teller of Bollywood. He is the same director who was recklessly criticized for his directorial debut ' Aks ', starring Amitabh Bachchan , Raveena Tandon and Manoj Bajpai . To clean those shabby marks on his career, he is planning to re-edit ' Aks ' for its DVD release.
This idea popped up in the director's mind, while he was chopping the biopic-cult, ' Bhaag Milkha Bhaag ' for its international release. Therefore, before starting his next project 'Mirza', Rakeysh plans to re-edit ' Aks ' and get it in right sequence. Talking about this venture, he said it is impossible to re-shoot the film, after it has hit the theatres about a decade ago. But he can surely use his editing tools, to present the film in an effective manner in its DVD version.
It's not the first time, Rakeysh have fluctuated his mind. Earlier, he had changed ' Delhi 6 ' ending, few months after its release.
Well, now that Rakeysh understands filmmaking better, he is now on the hunt to rectify his imperfections done during his learning days.
