Ram Gopal Varma's new discovery, Punit Singh Ratn in 'Satya 2'

Ram Gopal Varma may have faced some failures at box office recently. He may have been heavily criticized for his offerings like ' Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag ', ' Agyaat ' and ' Department ', the filmmaker can never be doubted for his yesteryear efforts like ' Satya ', ' Daud ' and the ' Sarkar ' series.

However, by fitting his old shoes back, the controversial filmmaker, Ramu is routing the old tracks by reviving one of his classics ' Satya ' in all new avatar with ' Satya 2'. The film is a portrayal of underworld nexus in the 2013 era, where underworld is assumed to be rooted out completely from the cream city, Mumbai.

Whereas considered about ' Satya 2 's male lead Punit Singh Ratn , the newbie actor seems to retain the potential of reviving the cult to its fullest. The mentor Varma too seems the same and further reportedly mentioned that, the lead Satya in this film is probably the most unique character he must have carved in his entire career. As a director, he loves the hero's machismo and Punit here fits the suitable criteria quite perfect. As per the insiders, it took just around 10 minutes of meet to urge RGV finalize the young talent, sensing his ability to do justice with the character.

On his mentor's statement, the lad Punit Singh Ratn quoted that, RGV is a genius in himself. The film has expanded his vision on the overall film making experience. As considered about the particular film, it consists of a handsome of inherent shock value along with emotional conflict. He hopes to have delivered the right prospective of the rustic character that he had been living for the past one year, as per the sources.

' Satya 2 ', the revival of the classic gang lord fame then released in 1998, is an entirely new story with the same concept of setting a new underworld power in the 2013 era. The film also stars some new entries apart from the lead as like Anaika Soti and Aleesha Gupta . The film is slated to release on October 25th this year.
