Remakes of 'Andha Kanoon' and 'Aakhree Raasta' to land soon

As B-Town is flooded with the bunch of old and cult remakes, the list is getting long and long. As per the latest news, Bollywood producer Kushal Gada has purchased the rights of yesteryear super hit flicks ' Andhaa Kaanoon ' and ' Aakhree Raasta '. Well, it would be interesting to see the remakes of these two Amitabh Bachchan classics.

The viewers have seen Southern superstar Rajinikanth featuring alongside the veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan in the film ' Andhaa Kaanoon '. It was a double treat for all the Bachchan fans in the movie ' Aakhree Raasta ', as Big B played double role in it opposite Sridevi and Jaya Prada .

The CMD of Pen India Pvt Ltd and B-Town filmmaker Kushal Gada verified this news mentioning that this deal has been proved wonderful. It is hard to surpass the benchmark set by Amitabh Bachchan films in the industry, Gada added. He even said that he is not very sure about which movie to start with, however, one of the films will definitely go on the floors by the next year.

Lastly, Kushal Gada produced the blockbuster ' Kahaani ' featuring Vidya Balan . At present, he is working on Prateik Babbar and Amyra Dastur starrer ' Issaq '. On the other hand, Gada is also busy with the 3D remake of ' Sholay '.

It seems the reigning of Big B remakes is on in the tinsel town nowadays, as earlier films of Bachchan like ' Don ' and ' Agneepath ' were converted into remakes, which turned out to be blockbusters. ' Zanjeer ' is the one more film of senior Bachchan that is under-production.
