Film maker Dibakar Banerjee is known for making small budget films and has delivered several hits like ' Oye Lucky! Lucky Oye! ',' Khosla Ka Ghosla ' and ' Shanghai ' among others. Banerjee shared his experience working on small budget movies and how they work best for him.
In a recent interaction with a leading daily, the film maker stated that he wants to make small budget films and make small or tidy profits for his producers. He added that, he is not alarmed by the decreasing profits by the big budget films. Dibakar also shared the hardships of a small budget film. He stated that getting financial backing for unconventional films is always a task. He also spoke about his upcoming film with actors Ranvir Shorey and newcomers Shashank Arora and Shivani Raghuvanshi . The budget of the film is extremely minuscule; hence, he is having sleepless nights in order to figure out ways to promote the film innovatively.
