Ravi Jadhav, the National Award winning director who made super hit Marathi films such as 'Natarang', 'Timepass' and 'Balak Palak', is geared up for his Bollywood debut. Jadhav will helm Eros International's production venture 'Banjo'. Going by the report, 'Banjo' is a musical drama that will feature Riteish Deshmukh and Nargis Fakhri in the lead role.
Riteish and Nargis also share the screen in the upcoming ' Housefull 3 '. The producer Krishika Lulla attested this news update by saying that "I'm happy Riteish and Nargis have come on board. I wanted actors who would fall in love with the subject and give it their all. It's an apt part for Nargis who plays a girl from abroad who is visiting India. We will be organizing some workshops closer to the time they begin shooting."
The story of 'Banjo' mirrors the essence of Marathi culture, said Jadhav. Lulla stated "It's all about the banjo guys. I can't reveal much at this point of time, but it's a beautiful script,"
