Ronnie Screwvala signs 7 new directors who have been part of some amazing projects in the past!

Ronnie Screwvala is an entrepreneur and producer who has always backed the content driven and excellent projects. In the past 2 decades, he has produced films like ‘Lakshay’, ‘ Swades ’, ‘ Rang De Basanti ’, ‘ Jodhaa Akbar ’, ‘ A Wednesday ’ and many more. But now, he has taken a major step and has signed seven new directors, who have had a major role in some outstanding projects in the past. The producer and philanthropist has now signed Anand Tiwari , Akarsh Khurana , Sneha Taurani, Aditya Dhar, Vandana Kataria, Vasan Bala and Amit Joshi.

Talking about the individuals and their work, first we have Anand Tiwari: Anand is a stage actor, writer, and director, who has appeared in films like ‘Kites’, ‘Udaan’, and ‘Go Goa Gone’, he was the assistant director for ‘Barfi’ and has also helmed Y-Films’ web series, titled, ‘Bang Baaja Baarat’.

Amit Joshi: Amit was the one who penned the critically acclaimed film ‘Trapped’.

Vasan Bala: Bala is a writer and assistant director known for Raman Raghav 2.0 (2016), Peddlers (2012) and The Lunchbox (2013).

Vandana Kataria: Vandana has worked as a production designer for the films like, ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshi’, ‘Shanghai’ and ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’ and also written and directed an upcoming film, ‘Noblemen’.

Aditya Dhar: Dhar has penned some movies like ‘Aakrosh’ and ‘Tezz’ and he was also the lyricist for the movie, ‘Kabul Express’.

Sneha Taurani: Sneha is Ramesh Taurani’s daughter and has worked as an assistant director for movies like, ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’, ‘Murder 2’ and ‘Wake Up Sid’.

Akarsh Khurana: Khurana is a writer who has penned 4 movies out of which 2 became blockbuster hits. His writing pieces include, ‘U Me Aur Hum’ ‘Kites’, ‘Krrish’ and ‘Krrish 3’.
