Reportedly, Salman Khan has been suffering from a rare nerve disorder called Trigeminal Neuralgia. He has been suffering from excruciating pain due to this disorder since 2007 right from the time he was shooting for ' Partner '. His pain worsened in 2010 after which he decided to undergo surgery.
Last year, in August, Salman Khan underwent surgery for Trigeminal Neuralgia in the US. The surgery was believed to be a successful one, after which he convalesced there for quite some time. Post recovery, he joined Katrina Kaif and rest of the crew in London to shoot for Kabir Khan 's ' Ek Tha Tiger '.
It was expected that after a long treatment in US hospital, Salman Khan 's nerve disorder would have gone, but unfortunately this is not true. It appears that everything is not well with Salman's health. Reportedly, he has not fully recovered from the nerve disorder.
A source close to the actor told a leading daily: "Even a slight misjudged punch on the face could trigger off his condition and cause acute pain."
Salman has been advised to keep away from action scenes because it could deteriorate his condition. Currently the ' Dabangg ' star is shooting for his upcoming movie ' Dabangg 2 '.
There was a buzz that now Salman Khan should not be doing action films. But the actor's fans and well-wishers need not get disappointed as they can see him in upcoming action movies ' Sher Khan ' and ' Kick ' too. He just needs to be extra cautious while filming action sequences.
We wish Salman a speedy recovery and hope to see him absolutely healthy once again.
