This deal has never ever happened in Bollywood, till date. But Salman Khan ’s Tubelight made it happen by earning 227 crores even before releasing the trailer.
As per a leading daily, film Tubelight has sold its music rights to Sony Music for 20 crores. While, NH Studioz acquired its Indian theatrical release rights for whopping 132 crores. And if this was not enough, a Chinese company too purchased the stake for 75 crores to release it in China. Therefore, the total collection sums up to Rupees 227 crores, till now. Made on the budget of 100 crores, Tubelight is already in profits.
Call it the brand power of Salman Khan or the exclusive Eid release; it is surely working in the favor of Tubelight . Even participation of Chinese actress Zhu Zhu in the film has earned the interest of Chinese audiences. With this, Tubelight is sure to break many records.
Directed by Kabir Khan, film Tubelight will be releasing on June 23.
