Both, Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar are one of the busiest actors of B-town these days with movies lined up one after other for them.
The makers of the 2005 hit comedy movie ‘ No Entry ’ have been keen on making its sequel for a long time now. Since Salman played the male lead in the original film, they wanted to cast him in its sequel also. But due to the unavailability of the actor's date for a few years now, the makers have now run out of patience and shifted their gears towards Akshay Kumar . A source revealed to a leading media portal, “They are looking at Akshay to replace Salman in the sequel. Akshay has not yet given the nod to the film. He is likely to speak to Salman about it first.”
‘ No Entry ’ was directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Boney Kapoor . After ‘ No Entry ’, Salman collaborated with Bazmee for Ready . Akshay, on the other hand, has worked with the director in ‘ Welcome ’ (2007), ‘ Singh is Kinng ’ (2008), and ‘ Thank You ’ (2011). So it should not come as a surprise if Akshay gives his nod to the project keeping his long and successful association with Baazmee in the mind. The work on scripting and casting of ‘No Entry’ sequel is reportedly underway.
Salman, who just wrapped ‘ Tiger Zinda Hai ’ a while ago, has begun shooting for ‘ Race 3 ’. He has also committed to star in ‘ Dabangg 3 ’ and brother-in-law’s ‘ Bharat ’, which are lined up to mount floors. Meanwhile, Akshay, who’s busy with ‘ 2.0 ’, have ‘ Padman ’ coming this January, followed by ‘ Gold ’ and then ‘ Crack ’ lined up for release in the coming years.
Though both the actors are having a tight schedule, it will be fun for the movie lovers to see who will be tickling the funny bones in the sequel to ‘ No Entry ’.
