Sandeep Singh, on whose life the upcoming film 'Soorma' is based, inspired and motivated IIT students at E-Summit!
The upcoming sports biopic, Soorma, is inspired from the life of the great player. Diljeet Dosanjh will be seen in the titular role.

Ex-captain of the Indian national hockey team, Sandeep Singh was invited as a speaker to inspire and motivate students at IIT Powai's E-Summit. For the uninitiated, the forthcoming film Soorma is inspired from the life of the ace hockey player. The Arjuna Awardee shared the ups and downs of his life to a full house auditorium at the campus. He spoke about some of the unknown facets of his professional and personal life. After his speech, students were excited to ask him questions about his inspiring journey. They gave him a huge round of applause after the session.
IIT Powai recently concluded their 2 days E-Summit, which is considered as India’s biggest student entrepreneurial conclave. Meanwhile, after this, top management institutes from India and abroad have extended an invite to Sandeep Singh to come and interact with the students.
Starring Diljit Dosanjh , Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi in important roles, Soorma is Shaad Ali . Produced by Sony Pictures Networks Productions , Chitrangda Singh , and Deepak Singh , the film is slated to release on 29th June.
