Sara Ali Khan to team up with Anushka Sharma for her next production?

Sara Ali Khan ’s Bollywood debut was one of the most talked about one! Being Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara had a privileged start to her career in films. The young lady chose KriArj Entertainment ’s Kedarnath as her debut film opposite Sushant Singh Rajput . Now, the latest update claims that Anushka Sharma and her brother’s Clean Slate Films’ team is willing to work with Sara in their next production. By far Anushka has worked in all her productions viz. NH10, Phillauri and now the upcoming film Pari. But this time, they were looking for a fresh face to be the lead.
A source from Mid-Day revealed, “The project will be a social drama. When Anushka, Karnesh, Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor [of KriArj] were scouting for a female lead, they zeroed in on Sara. Prernaa and Arjun have worked with her in Kedarnath [co-producers] and they like her dedication. When they narrated the script to Sara, she loved it.”
The source revealed that the director of Kedarnath , Abhishek Kapoor didn’t want Sara to sign her second film until their shooting is wrapped. But, Sara did not wish to wait that long as the films’ release date also has been pushed ahead. It will be interesting to see Sara and Anushka team up for a film together!
Sara Ali Khan ’s debut film Kedarnath is a love story set on a pilgrimage. It is scheduled to release on 21 December, 2018.
