Saroj Khan to be honoured at MWIFF

Ace choreographer, Saroj Khan will get felicitated with the documentary named, \'The Saroj Khan\' at Mumbai Women\'s International Film Festival.

She holds the record of choreographing in over 200 films till now. She has witnessed the upbringing of Bollywood, being associated with it for number of decades. From Madhuri Dixit to Deepika Padukone , she has made them all dance to her tunes. Being an inspiration to million of others, the ace choreographer Saroj Khan has earned herself the felicitation at Mumbai Women's International Film Festival (MWIFF). Also, the documentary entitled as 'The Saroj Khan' filmed on her, will be screened at the event.

Mumbai Women's International Film Festival aims to provide a renowned platform for the women filmmakers. The fest is organized by Oculus Creations, in collaboration with Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC).

'The Saroj Khan' documentary, filmed by Nidhi Tuli, will showcase the choreographer candidly, her plight towards success, her professional as well as personal life will be beautifully crafted in the film.

The seven days film fest starting on October 8, will screen over 180 films made by the women filmmakers, also a new award is to be launched, named after Fatma Begum , India's first female filmmaker.
